Friends offer coffee - and a Sunday lunch

FRIENDS of Overgate are planning an autumn of frundraising events for the hospice.

On Saturday, September 29, they will be hosting a coffee morning at Todmorden Town Hall from 10am to 12.30pm which will include a home-made produce stall and a bric-a-brac stall.

And on October 28 they are hosting their third Sunday Lunch at Todmorden Cricket Club, Centre Vale, Burnley Road, Todmorden, from noon to 2.30pm. The event, which features a super carvery lunch, has proved very popular since it was launched and tickets are on sale at £8.50, available from members of the committee.
