Incredible book ready for launch

AN INCREDIBLE new children’s book will be launched at Todmorden Library next week.

The Incredible Edible Story will hit the shelves at the library on Friday Septeber 21 at 9am, with a chance to meet author Tom Palmer.

The book tells the story of a little girl, a grandad and an apple. A total of 3,000 copies will be given to all 30 primary schools in the upper Calder Valley for children in years one to three.

Estelle Brown, from IET, said: “We would like to thank the Community Foundation for Calderdale who generously funded the production, enabling us to donate the book to the library and schools.”
