Kettle will be on for Macmillan

A TODMORDEN business is adding a coffee morning to its daily routine in support of the Macmillan Cancer Charity.

Autumn brings Macmillan’s Big Coffee Morning event and among those who will be serving up brews, biscuits and cakes will be staff at Jay Laurie’s hair and beauty salon on Burnley Road, Todmorden.

On Friday, September 28, they will be open from 11.30am to 1.30pm to serve up refreshments for a £2 fee, which will go to help the chairty’s work.

On the day Rebecca Coverdale will be running Thai massage sessions and Ruth Wuild of Daisy Days will have a showcase stall. All three businesses will be running raffles to boost the Macmillan total.
