New employees start work at Acorn

MORE than 20 new employees have started working at the Acorn Centre as part of the Future Jobs Fund.

The environmental workers have already started to make a difference in Todmorden by carrying out planting and other horticultural tasks on land outside Todmorden Community College.

High visibility jackets featuring the Acorn Centre and Incredible Edible Todmorden names and logos have now been produced for the new employees. Two new designers taken on by the Acorn Centre attended the Made in Tod! exhibition to display the work they have been doing so far.
