Pay attention and you'll see that's not the way I do it
Woodleigh Hall, Todmorden.
REGARDING the objection by F. Clarke (letters, March 4) to the Punch and Judy show at the recent Made In Todmorden event at the town hall, I would like to comment.
First of all, Todmorden Business Association did not hire me. I was entitled to display my wares alongside all the other wonderful businesses our town has to offer.
I would like to think F. Clarke was so engrossed in the displays that he failed to listen to the dialogue and instead made some big, incorrect assumptions. Punch DID NOT AT ANY TIME hit Judy.
Not in my version.
Not once. Fact.
Where were you F. Clarke?
If you had actually paid attention to the story, you could have seen and heard this for yourself.
Yes, domestic violence is an issue, but don’t look for it where it doesn’t exist!
Let children be children along with enjoyment of all forms of traditional entertainment, including fairy tales.
It’s all part of childhood. Or do you want to ban those as well?
And yes, I have heard of the White Ribbon Campaign.
