Plans go in for Con Club changes
PLANS for a change of use of the former Todmorden Conservative Club to offices have been submitted to Calderdale Council.
Mr A Darwin has applied for planning permission to create offices on the ground floor and first floor of the three-storey building on Rochdale Road, Todmorden.
As reported in the Todmorden News last month, Todmorden Together is looking to open up a community hub at the former Conservative Club including local community groups and organisations.
After years of continuing success Todmorden Together, which supports between 30 and 40 different groups in the town, has identified the club as a potential new base.
Other applications received by Calderdale Council between February 25 and March 2 include the following:
Single storey extension at first floor level and improved pedestrian access to north elevation, 2 Bay Horse Fold, Cross Stone Road, Todmorden, for Mr A Barnett.
Renewal of listed building consent (ref: 06/01691) to convert the barn into a dwelling (listed building consent), Warland Farm, Warland, Todmorden, for Mr R Pownall.
Change of use from storage/office on first and second floors to residential flat, 35 Burnley Road, Todmorden, for Mr I Dempsey.
Demolition of existing garage and construction of new dwelling, Greenhills, 51 Ramsden Wood Road, Walsden, for Mr and Mrs J Horseford.
The 21 days for receipt of representations on these applications began on March 7.
Applications received by Calderdale Council between February 18 and 24 include variation of conditions three and four attached to planning permission 09/00820 to allow use of artificial stone and concrete tile, Carrfield Mill, 864 Burnley Road, Todmorden, for Skipton Properties Ltd.
The 21 days for receipt of representations on this application began on March 1.
