Police are trying to trace the owner of a dog which bit a two-year-old boy in Beeston.

The incident happened at about 5.30pm on Friday (April 18) while the boy was in the Cross Flatts Park with his parents.

The dog was being walked on a lead by its owner when the child attempted to pet it and was bitten on the head.
