Prince Charles meets our Neil
Neil Davidson, of Shelf, was among winners of a Business in the Community Award to meet Prince Charles at New Zealand House, London.
Mr Davidson said: “I had a good chat with Prince Charles about his visit to Todmorden in 2011. He remembered his visit well and inquired about the market and joked about the work he did with the Marshalls staff on planting trees in Todmorden. We also discussed the ‘Get Britain Building’ campaign.” Mr Davidson, a Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire and Overgate Hospice fundraiser, won his award for his work as coporate social responsibility manager with local concrete firm Marshalls.
