Putting on a show this weekend to raise cash for Haiti

CHOIRS, bands, dancers and other performers will come together to raise funds for earthquake victims.

The Three Valleys Gospel Choir, Share the Blame, The Wes Paul Band, True North Tribal Belly Dancers and special guest musicians will perform at Todmorden Hippordrome from 7.30pm to 11pm, this Saturday, March 13 in the Help for Haiti Benefit Concert.

Event organiser Rita Frayne said she hoped to fill the Hippodrome Theatre to raise as much money as possible for the relief effort in Haiti, devastated by an earthquake in January.

There will also be a bar, raffle and cakes at the event.

Tickets, priced at 5 for adults and 3 for under-16s, are on sale at Todmorden Information Centre.

For more information contact Rita on 01706 810733.
