Restaurant plan gets backing

COUNCILLORS have recommended approval of plans to convert a building into a restaurant.

Members of Todmorden Town Council’s development committee voted in favour of Ms O Bamford’s application to create the eaterie on the ground floor of 43 Rochdale Road, with flats above.

Coun Frank McManus said: “It would upgrade a rather dilapidated building.”
