Sewing workshop Cheeky Sew and Sew, at Rochdale Road, Todmorden, will be transformed into a hand made arts fair on Saturday, December 14.

From 10am to 4pm there will be stalls galore, filled with quality handmade items for sale from local designers and creators, says owner Tansy Dyer.

There will be handmade clothes from several local designers and makers, jewellery galore, hand made felt slippers, re-imagined vintage glassware, handmade stools, gothic rag dolls and hand dyed wools. If that’s not enough then for those with a creative flair there’ll be kits to make your own gloves, shawls, bags and skirts as well as vintage sewing patterns and fabrics.

Tansy said: “We’re pleased that we have attracted some really high quality and original designers and makers from the Calder Valley to come and sell their handmade creations in Todmorden.

“There’s a good range of fantastic things for sale plus we’ll have have homemade cake and mulled wine to banish the winter chills.”
