Squirrel poisoning in Todmorden
Poisoning victims? A grey squirrel
Police have received a report of squirrels being illegally poisoned in Todmorden.
Officers are urging people to take care when leaving any poisons out.
They say poisons do not target species and have the potentional to kill wild and domestic creatures.
They say anyone who finds potential instances should not touch the animal and contact the the Environment Agency on 0800 807060, who deal with poisoning incidents.
