Members of the Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) attended their 800th callout at the weekend.
Early on Sunday morning, the team was contacted by West Yorkshire Police to search a large area of farmland, fields and woodland in Thornton for two missing vulnerable males.
While team members were still searching, a dog walker who was out on an early morning walk came across the two men and phoned the police for help.
Medics from CVSRT were despatched to the scene to assess and treat the casualties.
Despite being out overnight the two men were only suffering from mild hypothermia and some minor injuries.
After treatment from a Yorkshire Ambulance Service crew, the duo were transported to hospital for a further check up.
