The search is on to find our Super Woman

ORGANISERS of a charity coffee morning are searching for Todmorden’s Super Woman.

In a similar style to the Pride of Britain awards, organisers are encouraging members of the public to nominate someone who they think is amazing and state why.

Rebeka Coverdale, from the organising team, said: “If you know a special lady who has super amazing qualities, then we want to hear about her.

“In 100 words or under tell us why you think this special lady should be crowned Super Woman.”

The winner, who will be announced at a Macmillan Big Coffee Morning at the hairdressers on September 28, will get an hour’s free massage of their choice with Todmorden Thai Bodywork and Massage.

Nominations should be posted in the box at Jay Laurie’s hairdressers by September 27. There is a £2 fee. All proceeds will go to the charity.
