Todmorden Show: Record sheep entry pleasing as exceptional standard is praised

A RECORD number of entries in the sheep section made this year's show a great success.

Sheep section secretary, Margaret Wood, said there had been 133 entries in all.

"It was pleasing to see an increase in entries for the traditional Lonk and Gritstone classes. The standard was exceptional with some quality sheep.

"The show was also complemented on its animal welfare organisation," Margaret added.
