Treasure chest of fun at Pirate holiday club

A NEW holiday club featuring pirate-themed activities will start next week.

"Treasure of Anchor Island", which will be held at Roomfield Baptist Church from August 17-20, will have games, drama, crafts, songs and much more to keep youngsters occupied over the summer holidays.

The club has a Christian basis but is open to all school children from Year one to Year six.

Dave Barker, one of the organisers, said: "We are really looking forward to the week.

"It will be high energy and exciting with lots of crazy fun to keep the children entertained."

The sessions run from 10am until 12.30pm each day.
