Voices will be raised for charity at summer concert

Calder Valley Voices' annual concert is a summer event this year.

Once again, there will be a wonderful mix of songs from round the world and from many traditions.

Those interested are invited to join the choir on Thursday, June 24, at 8 pm in the Methodist Church, Bridge Lanes, Hebden Bridge - opposite the Co-op.

Tickets will be sold on the door at 5 (3 concessions).

The choir's traditional spread of interval homemade cakes will be on sale too in order to support its chosen charity of the year.

All monies from the concert will go to WaterAid, the international charity which "uses practical solutions to provide clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people."
