Todmorden
The next Oak over 50s 'Drop-in Friday' will take place at Central Methodist Church on March 5 from 10am until 3pm. Activities include line dancing, Tai Chi, board games, singing, crafts and a new knitting clinic. Tai Chi sessions also take place at Yew Tree Court, Walsden, on Fridays from 9.40am until 10.40am. Chair-based Dru Yoga sessions are held at Roomfield House on Tuesdays from 2-3pm. A three-week creative writing course gets underway at Central Methodist Church on Friday March 5 at 11am. 'A Tribute to Elvis' comes to Todmorden Town Hall on Friday March 5. The show features Elvis impersonators Chris Connor and Steve Preston, who have both toured with Elvis Presley's original band members. The next 'Strictly Vinyl' night at The Venue nightclub will take place on Friday March 5 from 11pm until 4am. There will be soul, house and electro with resident DJs Nick Ashworth, Scott Mellors and Craig Baillie. Entry is 5.
