Todmorden
The next Oak over 50s 'Drop-in Friday' will take place at Central Methodist Church on March 12 from 10am until 2.30pm. Activities include line dancing, Tai Chi, board games, singing, crafts and a new knitting clinic. Tai Chi sessions also take place at Yew Tree Court, Walsden, on Fridays from 9.40am until 10.40am. Chair-based Dru Yoga sessions are held at Roomfield House on Tuesdays from 2-3pm. The creative writing course continues at Central Methodist Church on Friday March 12 at 11am. Todmorden Natural History Society's winter series of illustrated talks continues on Saturday March 13. Rosemary Cox, from York, will speak about "A Greek Odyssey" at Central Methodist Church at 7.15pm.

Saxophonist Andy Sheppard and guitarist John Parricelli are Steve Tilston's guests in the latest instalment of his Trades Roots series at the Trades Club tonight (Thursday).
