NEIGHBOURS enjoyed games, activities and food as they celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Residents on Dineley Avenue, Todmorden, held a street party to mark the occasion and also raise funds for their park project.
Mayor of Todmorden Coun Abid Hussain called in to join the celebrations.
Organiser Julie Ferrie said: “It went really well.
“Lots of residents turned out for it.
“We had lots of games for the children.
“There were races and somebody made us some stocks so the children could throw sponges at the adults.
“It was a really good day.”
The event was funded by donations from residents.
