EARLIER this year Incredible Edible Todmorden was funded by the EU to form a Grundtvig Partnership with five other European countries - Slovenia, France, Hungary, Germany and Ireland.
To help promote the project both in Todmorden and in the partner countries, IET would like locals to enter our postcard competition.
The Grundtvig project titled “Food Is Garden Edible” will be the subject for IET’s postcard competition.
The competition is open to anyone living in Todmorden and its surrounding areas who is over the age of 18.
The postcard could be anything from a photo to a drawing or painting. The size is to be no bigger than 6” x 4”. It can be in colour or black and white. Let your imagination run wild!
The six best postcards judged by Sally Darlington, IET food inspirer, and Lynne Houlden and Kate Rae, who are volunteer co-ordinators of the project, will be taken to Slovenia in March for final judging by our European partners.
The winning prize for the top postcard will be to take part in one of the European visits to the partner countries.
Entries must be completed and sent to Sally Darlington, IET Food Inspirer, The Bear, 29 Rochdale Road, Todmorden, OL14 by Friday, February 3, 2012. No entries will be accepted after this date.
Alternatively, entries can be emailed to email@example.com - make sure all entries are sent with your name, address, telephone number and email contact if you have one.
Good luck. Your only limitation is your imagination!
