It’s a special day for any family when a new addition is born and especially so for Todmorden couple Lee and Lisa Warwick this week.

For their second son, baby Oscar, arrived in the world on the same day as Baby Cambridge, new-born son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife Catherine.

Baby Cambridge was born at St Mary’s Hospital, West London, at 4.24pm on Monday while baby Oscar was born at home in Dobroyd at 11.23pm - just in time to share the same birthday! Delighted parents Lee, aged 30, a self-employed joiner, Lisa, 29, who is a higher level teaching assistant at Todmorden High School, and big brother Isaac, who is three, were really pleased.

Lee said: “Everything went well and mum and baby are doing really well. We are delighted and really happy.”
