Thousands of people headed for the Calder Valley on Easter Monday, filling Hebden Bridge for the 16th annual Charity Duck Race.

Organised by Hebden Bridge Rotary Club, the race saw crowds of onlookers pack into the town to take in the race and cheer on thousands of yellow ducks.

The day weas blessed with some excellent sunny weather, and the organisers were delighted with the turnout.

Every picture tells a story, and here are a selection from the day taken by photographer Jim Fitton.
