REPAIRS to the roof and damaged stonework at Todmorden Town Hall are scheduled to be completed by the end of the month, according to Calderdale Council.
Once the work is completed, the scaffolding will then be removed from the exterior of the building over a period of time.
The council has also responded to local concerns about potential lead theft from the building. A spokesperson said the scaffolding has been designed so it can only be accessed from the roof, and none of the ladders reach ground level. The council feels these measures are adequate.
