Six-week course is free for area’s unpaid adult carers

CALDERDALE Carers Project will be holding their next “Looking after me” course at Mytholmroyd Methodist Church.

Starting on September 5, the course comprises of six weekly sessions, each lasting two hours and 30 minutes.

Free for all unpaid adult carers, the course covers subjects such as healthy living, developing skills to help you cope with your caring responsibilities and relaxation.

Transport costs can be reimbursed and there is help available, for those who need it, with arranging and paying for a sitting service while you are unavailable.

The course is delivered by trained tutors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Refreshments and lunch are also provided.
