MORE than 20 real ales and ciders will be available at the third Walsden Cricket Club spring beer festival next weekend.

From Thursday through to Sunday drinkers will be able to sample products from a range of breweries at the event, one of the club’s big annual fundraisers.

Co-organiser and new club steward Nigel Stanidge said the event begins next Thursday, April 14, from 5pm until late.

Friday’s event begins at noon and runs until late, and the Saturday and Sunday sessions (April 16 and 17) will also run from noon until late.

Food is available at all sessions and entry is £2 (plus you’ll need money for your beer tokens). CAMRA members get in free.

The club is also encouraging visitors to use its good bus and train links.
