Walkers heading for the hills on Sunday

Hebden Bridge Rotary club is preparing to welcome over 200 walkers and runners for its annual Boundary Walk on Sunday.

Funds from the walk will go to the Scout Association.

It is split into three stages: Hebden Bridge to Keighley Road, via Luddenden Dean and Warley Moor - which is approximately nine miles; Keighley Road to Widdop, via Walshaw - which is approximately 7.5 miles; and Widdop to Hebden Bridge, via Hardcastle Crags, which is approximately 4.5 miles.

The last section is particularly suitable for families. Transport is provided to Widdop for those who wish to do just this section.

It is waymarked with flags and there are marshals and refreshments at all checkpoints. Walkers need to register at the start, which is at the Signature Rugs premises in Valley Road, Hebden Bridge. Should anyone wish to drop out from the walk, transport back to Hebden Bridge is provided from the nearest checkpoint. Entry forms are available at www.hebdenbridgerotary.org.uk
