Students are asking members of the community to help choose which area of Todmorden they would like to see cleaned up.
Todmorden High School pupils have spent the past two months working on the Weir Minerals Community Challenge 2012, which promises to give a face-lift to one of two areas in Todmorden town centre; a stretch of canal towpath plagued by dog mess or the town’s railway station.
Their proposals will go on display in Todmorden Library from June 25-30 for residents to view.
The public will then have the opportunity to vote for their plan of choice by using a link to the school’s website.
The voting can be carried out directly from the library’s computers and staff will assist where required.
The proposals will also go before an expert panel of judges who will meet at the school on July 3.
