Trimming change which will cause problems for elderly or disabled tenants

Well, Pennine Housing has done it again, especially to pensioners and disabled people.

For years, especially in the council years, the hedging and small lawns have been maintained.

Now Pennine have sent letters to say they have stopped all this and we have to find a way to fix our own.

I am 83, with diabetes and other complaints.

My neighbour is disabled.

I have another neighbour with emphysema.

There was no alternative, even with a charge, which would help.

The grass is already for first cut, the hedging wasn’t done from last September.

There are no firms local, and whilst we do not mind paying, private firms cost an arm and a leg, and cutting grass is a monthly affair.

Come back the council, who maintained everything religiously.
