Darts: Stars take it to the maximum

TODMORDEN Mixed Darts League players were in excellent form in recent fixtures with a slew of 180 maximums and strong finishing.
Recent fixtures saw A league 180s from S. Schofield (Shannon B), I. Bedford (Shannon A) and R. Wilson (TWMSC) and a trio of Shannon A players, T. Gill, C. Nelmes and P. Chadwick. Top checkouts came from Cornholme Waggon's A. Brennand (148), York B's
N. Widdup (120) and Glen B's S. Craven (125).

A league

Week 7: Cornholme Waggon 6, Glen A 15; Shannon B 7, Shannon A 14; York A 6, TWMSC 15.

Week 8: Glen A 12, TWMSC 9; Shannon B 12, York A 9; Shannon A 16, Cornholme Waggon 5.

B league

Week 11: Weavers 10, Todmorden CC 11; Royal George B 5, British Legion 16; Glen B 4, Royal George A 17.

Week 12: Royal George A 13, Weavers 8; York B 8, Royal George B 13; British Legion 12, Glen B 9.

Matches that were cancelled on January 8 will now be played on February 9.

TODMORDEN Mixed Darts League's next fixtures will be played on February 2.

A League: Shannon A v Glen View A; TWMSC v Shannon B; York A v Cornholme Waggon.

B League: Glen View B v Weavers; British Legion, open date; Royal George A v York B; Todmorden CC v Royal George B.

Teams should note that second half of the season subs should be paid over at the league meeting on February 9.
