IN the corresponding fixture at Greetland early in the season, Todmorden suffered a 6-0 loss, so this game was a good measure of their progress. Not only did they turn the result round this time, but they even went one goal better.
It was a bruising encounter, played out on a muddy pitch during incessant rain. But Todmorden rose to the task well.
