York sides battle for Doms supremacy

YORK Hotel's B and A teams are jockeying it out for position with Legion A at the top of Todmorden Domino League's dominoes section A Division and the fives and threes section sees Catholic Club and York A on level pegging.
They are three points ahead of Legion A and Cornholme Waggon who have some games in hand.
In The B Division dominoes section five wins out of five have placed Shannon at the top, clear of Border Rose who head the chasing pack which also includes TWM
C B, Hare and Hounds and Bridge End.
Shannon are clear by nine points in the fives and threes section but Hare and Hounds, placed second, have some games in hand.
Teams should note that Rope and Anchor B and Rope and Anchor A are now playing their games from the British Legion.
Fixtures for November 23
A Division
TWMC A v Duke of York D; Con Club v Catholic Club; Cornholme Waggon v British Legion A; British Legion B v Fountain; Duke of York B v Rope B; Duke of York A, open date.
B Division
Rope and Anchor A v Bridge End; British Legion C v Duke of York C; Queens v Glen View; Cornholme WMC v Shannon; Hare and Hounds v TWMC B; Border Rose, open date.

- Todmorden Domino League teams should note there will be a domino meeting on December 7 at the British Legion (1pm).
This is to pay for match fees to date and to register for the singles, pairs and fives and threes knockout competitions. The cost is £2 per player per competition.
