Another clean sheet and another victory for Woodhouse

WOODHOUSE have given new manager Simon Randles a great start to the season by winning their first two Rochdale Sunday League Division Two games without conceding a goal.

Once again it was Joe Whitham who did the damage on Sunday with two goals as Woodhouse beat visitors Crompton and Royton 3 - 0.

He had to wait until 10 minutes into the second half for his second with a shot from inside the box after being put through again.

Woodhouse got their third from substitute Callum Hallinan, who scored less than a minute after taking the field. He too latched on to a through ball to fire home and almost got a second a few minutes later.

l ON Tuesday at Broadway Celtic Reserves, Woodhouse went one better, winning 4 - 0.

Gary Fish gave them a 1 - 0 lead at half-time with a tap-in and then there was an own goal as the home side failed to deal with a Mathew Town long throw.

Fish got the third with a left foot volley before Jordan Walker made it four by lobbing the keeper
