IT’S Premier Division football next season in the Rochdale Alliance League for Jack’s House.

The club ended as Division One champions when they beat Castleton Seconds last last week at home, in front of a big crowd.

Before the game Jacks needed two points to take the title.

The first half was very nervy from Jack’s House but an own goal by Castleton a minute before half-time settled the team down.

Jacks cruised through the second half. Castleton had a man sent off and Sutcliffe scored two goals with Jake Goldie as man of the match

On Saturday, Jacks played Hargreaves at home, fielding some players from the second team and giving their substitutes from the previous weeks a start.

Even with five changes from the previous game, they won 4-1 with goals from Marc Walters, Goldie, Sutcliffe and Daniel Birch.

The second team ended their season on a high with a respectable 1-1 draw with title challengers Sun Hotel.

It leaves them finishing mid-table and a good young team ready for a challenge on the title next season.

On Saturday Jacks play their last game against Waggon Athletic.
