GOLFER Michael Hartley is currently going through a purple patch.

His most recent victory was the monthly medal at Todmorden Golf Club.

It follows up his win in the seniors open with fellow member Les Greaves with a great score of 48 points at Fairhaven Golf Club.

He won the Todmorden monthly medal with a net 65 in difficult windy conditions.

Alan also won the nearest the pin prize on the fifth hole and sunk his putt for a birdie two.

Other twos were recorded by Michael Murray and Simon Hemmington.

Nearest the pin on the 16th was Lee Dearden.

Peter Bailey and Keith Lacey managed a fourth place on a recent seniors open at Nelson Golf Club.
