Good weather - and great golf scores!

Last Saturday saw a Winter Medal played at Todmorden Golf Club in good weather, which was reflected in the great scores returned, with eight players all below par.

Amazingly, the first three places had to be decided on a card playoff, with Warren Duckworth emerging the worthy winner with a net 64.

Runner-up was Fred Stutter with third place going to Paul Horsfall.

The Winter League played last Sunday also provided some good scores, with Paul Gale winning the individual prize with 40 points.

This was good enough to put Paul on the winning team, along with Warren Duckworth and Alan Murray.
