ELEVEN members of Todmorden Homing Society had 237 birds at Cheltenham for last Saturday’s race.
Liberated into a light north east wind, the conditions were perfect for a good testing race, and so it proved to be with the in-form loft of Lee Brannan clocking two birds together, taking first and second from Brian and Sandra Fisher one and a half minutes behind in third place.
Next week’s race is Messac, with the Lancashire Combine.

Once again it proved a first place for Sam and Gerry Marley as they continued their winning run.
