Jack’s unveil new manager

JACK’S House have appointed a new manager to replace the successful David Williams.

Grant Cochrane takes charge of the newly promoted team and has been welcomed by all involved in the club.

Grant has several seasons as a manager under his belt. In his last role he took Todmorden FC to treble winning glory in the Burnley League 2004/2005 season.

It was important that the club recruited someone with an excellent knowledge of the game and the right skills to push the team forward to challenge for honours in the Rochdale Premier Division.

“Grant has this in abundance and the feeling around the club is one of extreme confidence that more trophies will be won this season,” said captain Chris Barker.

“From the initial training sessions Jacks have had so far, it is clear that both our teams will be strong, especially with the addition of several new faces, bringing a mixture of youth, talent and experience,” he said.

Friendlies are being arranged in preparation for the season starting the second week of September.

Training sessions are taking place at Walsden Rec at 6.30pm every Thursday and new players are welcome.
