Football: Goldie treble sets Jack's on way to crushing win

Jack's House 9 Woodbank 1 Rochdale Alliance League

HOUSE were unstoppable as they improved their goal difference against the struggling visitors.

After a reasonably even opening 15 minutes Jake Goldie opened proceedings with a cracking shot into the top corner from range, setting up a 5-1 interval lead.

They raced into a three goal lead before Woodbank pulled one back with a deflected shot after a corner.

Young right winger Jonathon Taylor was behind most of Jack's best moves and was unlucky not to get his name on the scoresheet.

Goldie helped himself to a hat-trick while Marc Walters and Adam Causton had to settle for two apiece.

Causton should have completed a hat-trick himself but slipped at the vital moment.

Gary Barnes and a long range rocket from Chris Barker completed a very satisfying afternoon's work for House.
