Todmorden Gold Club held its annual Rabbits Open on Sunday. In good weather, the course was in excellent condition.

The first three places were filled by Todmorden players.
M.Hartley and J. Lukasyk were third, just behind S.Shone and N.Halstead.The winners, on a card play-off, were Keith Warburton and the Seniors Captain Peter Bailey with 40 points.
- A very tricky wind combined with quick greens provided a difficult course for the August Monthly Medal players at Todmorden Golf Club.
It also provided Lee Earnshaw with a day to remember as he had a hole in one on the 150 yard par three fifth.
Just missing out on a prize was John Whitham with a net 70, narrowly beaten by Paul Marrow on a card playoff.
He goes to the Gold Medal Final in October along with the winner Warren Duckworth, also on 70.
This should provide some consolation for Warren, who lost in the Captain's Prize quarter finals recently.
Next Saturday sees the first round of the Presidents Prize.
Julia White won the Mixed Rainbow competition with 38 points.
