Homing: Easier flight home this time
ELEVEN members of Todmorden Homing Society had 277 birds at Swainswick for last Saturday's race.
Liberated into a north west wind, the race should have been fairly tough but the wind turned westerly en route and gave the birds a much easier passage.
First to clock and over a minute in front of his next pigeon was Lee Brennan, taking first and seconnd places, with Brian and Sandra Fisher in third. Next week's race is from Swainswick.
