Justin is talk of county

Bolton County Res0

Todmorden Boro Res3

360 Sports West Lancashire League

JUSTIN Adams scored a fine hat-trick as Borough recorded a comfortable win at the league’s bottom club.

James Peavoy and Chris Ross anchored the display from midfield while firstly Dave Patrick and then substitute Craig Best proved willing and effective foils for Adams up front.

His first goal came after a period of sustained pressure when he turned and fired home from close range for the only goal of the first-half.

After being under the cosh for ten minutes after the interval, Borough found their feet again and had already hit the woodwork before Adams beat two defenders to fire home.

He poked home his and Todmorden’s third and with Terry Lowe and Dean Lawson providing good service from out wide it always looked as if there were more goals in the game.

They didn’t come but Borough were still happy with three points.
