Weavers chalk up another quiz win
THERE was another welcome victory for Weavers at home against Shannon in the Todmorden Quiz League.
Polished Knob posted the night’s highest score in defeating Hare and Hounds B. Jack’s House’s return to top form continued with a decisive win over Bridge End.
Woodpecker seem to specialise in winning on the last question as was the case in a high scoring match against Tod’s Cricketers. Cornholme’s Waggoners followed last week’s massive score with a slump in losing to Hare and Hounds A.
Queen’s variable form was definitely on the up with a victory against Royal George.
