Chris Oliver claimed the honours at Todmorden Angling Society’s trophy match on Townhouse.
Oliver landed 47lb, 10oz comprising carp on pole/pellet from peg six to see off the challenge from 14 other hopefuls on a cool, cloudy day.
Pete Mottram trailed in second with 40lb 4ozs of silvers and carp on pole/worm from peg 17 with Rob McKendry netting 33lb 4oz of silvers and carp on peg 11
Adam Kitson was fourth with 25lb 4oz of carp fishing from peg seven.

Anglers (or potential anglers) are reminded that an Environment Agency rod licence is required before fishing any water in England unless you are under 12.
You also need the permission of the owner of the fishing rights to fish the specific water you wish to attend.
Todmorden Angling Society controls the fishing on the Rochdale Canal from Callis (Lock 13) to Castleton Manchester Road (Lock 51) and also still waters i.e. New Mill Dam, Ramsden Wood Fishery, Cliviger Fishponds, Portsmouth Reservoir, Grove Lodge, Town House/Croft Head fisheries and Whitely Knowl Reservoir.
A members ticket is required, or a day ticket in advance but only for Grove Lodge or Cliviger Fishponds. Other waters are members only.
