Comfortably win for McKendry at anglers’ Townhouse match

Rob McKendry was a comfortable winner at Todmorden Angling Society’s match at Townhouse.

Mckendry saw off the challenge from 18 rivals to land top spot with 23lb 1oz of Carp/Ide on Pole meat from peg 17.

Pete Mottram was second, tipping the scales at 20lb 6oz with Carp tip on peg 12

Chris Lett’s 16lb 8oz was enough to give him third place ahead of Laura Howarth who netted 15lb 9oz.

There will be no Junior match until July 5 at Crofthead Fishery. Draw is up to 5.45pm with fishing between 6.15-8.15pm.

The Committee/bailiffs/official match is to be fished at Partridge Lakes (Warrington) on Saturday, July 6.

Please make sure you are booked on by the next committee meeting on July 3 at Todmorden Working Men’s Social Club, Halifax Road, Todmorden.

Meet at Partridge Lakes for breakfast at 8-8.15am with fishing from 10-3. Partridge Lakes match rules apply.

Tuesday evening matches continue on June 25 on Croft and is for senior members only.
