Giants got back to winning ways in the Todmorden League with a hard-fought 19-16 victory over Lions.

They were a player down and missed the usual solid shooting of Heidi Cook.

Play was even from the beginning, Lions keeping the Giants on their toes.

Giants missed quite a few easy goals but worked tirelessly to take the points in a good, friendly game.

Windies had beaten Giants the previous week but they came unstuck by 15-13 against Windies.

The lead kept changing hands in a fast paced game but Panthers finished just the stronger.

There was little between Bears and Jammies but Jammies just got the upper hand to win 17-12.

Twisters were unable to raise a team in the last round of fixtures before the two-week Easter break, so Terriers were awarded a 20-0 victory. Old Town had a bye.
