Tennis club keen to develop more talent

Todmorden Tennis Club is looking to develop more rising stars like Emma Loderer, nine, a pupil of Ferney Lee School.

Emma has been doing well in national competitions run by the LTA after starting as a four-year-old at Tod, where she remains a member. The club is offering junior sessions with an LTA coach starting on Friday, May 9 for four to 10-year-olds from 4pm to 5pm and for 10 to 16-year-olds from 5pm to 6pm. The club has started a fourth men’s team in the Calderdale League made up of 14 to 16 year old products of past sessions.
