Todmorden Terriers took advantage of Windies’ inactivity to go top of the Todmorden League.

Terriers were in top form and won 16-6 against Giants to go one point ahead.

Giants were lacking a shooter, who is out for the season, but that was no excuse for their sloppy play.

Panthers are third after a 21-15 win over Old Town.

A very hot evening made for a tiring match. It was a well fought game with some great shooting from both sides.

Old Town shot into a 5-0 lead and continued to play strongly but Panthers found some good form and hit gthe target with long range shots to come through and win comfortably.

Jammy Dodgers moved four points clear of Old Town courtesy of a 17-9 win over Twisters.

They had a great first half, playing with flair, and Twisters never really got into the game.

Borough Bears had their expected win over Lions, by 23-12.

Bears had the uppoer hand throughout and their accurate passing was a key factor.

Lions stuck to their task well in a fast- paced match.
