Todmorden will have South African Shadley Van Schalkwyk as substitute professional at home to Church in the Lancashire League on Sunday.
The right arm medium quick bowler and left handed batsmen was pro at Colne in 2012 and 2013 but he is now at Heyside CC and scored 222 not out three weeks ago.
The Centre Vale Park side have lost their two Lancashire League matches since Aussie Michael Neser flew home to go on stand-by for international duty, going down by seven wickets at home to Accrington last Saturday.
Skipper Andrew Sutcliffe thought his side had done well to total 196 for nine after being 30 for three off 20 overs against some good bowling.
Sub pro Saliya Saman (57) and Simon Newbitt (54) retrieved the situation and the lower order chipped in.
However, Accrington raced to 40 for none off 10 overs in reply. Ramiz Hussain (54) and Sam Excell (61) put on 110 for the first wicket and although Nigel Doyle struck three blows he was the only successful Tod bowler.
South African Ockert Erasmus (44 no) and skipper Stuart Crabtree (26 no) sealed victory.
