Netball - Rangers pip player-short Windies to win

IN the latest round of games in the Todmorden Netball League, Windies were one short with only six players against a strong Rangers team.

But some good passing and converting of goals kept the result a close one in great game with Rangers just winning it 16 - 14..

Giants struggled to raise a team against Jammys and had to play players out of position. It meant that Jammy were easy 22 - 4 winners. Their pro shooter never missed which meant Giants did not have a chance.

Terriers proved far too strong for Bears and overwhelmed them to a 20 - 0 scoreline.

The game between Twisters and Lions proved a very close one. The teams were level at 3 - 3 at half time after Twisters had taken an early lead.

It continued to be a close fought battle with strong passing by both teams and was locked at 7 - 7 with only minutes to go.

Lions eventually snatched it 8 - 7, scoring in the final seconds to win.

Panthers had no game.
